PTA

What is the PTA?
The Horsell Schools’ Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a joint association for The Horsell Village School and Horsell Church of England Junior School, raising funds to provide extra facilities and equipment for the children of both schools. As parents of children in either school you automatically become members.

We are a registered charity [1094182]

Each class has a class representative that facilitates information between the PTA and parents/carers.

What do we hope to achieve?

In 2024/25 we raised over £25K. In 2025/26 we are aiming to raise more than £25,000 to enable the purchase of build a new Playground and a new performance stage for the Junior School and exciting outdoor learning resources and ipads for the Village School. The schools would not be able to provide these with only the Local Education Authority’s funding.

Who are the PTA?

The PTA is managed by a committee which consists of three officers (chair, treasurer and secretary) and ordinary committee members (no specific numbers).

Chair    Sima Huddy
Treasurer Emma Machin
Secretary Bev Collins

If you would like to know more about getting involved or volunteering in any capacity, we have many non-committee members' roles, then please email horsellschoolspta@gmail.com
