Ofsted and SIAMS
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. They inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. Ofsted inspect schools at least once every 3 years.
Please find the latest report, dated January 2020, attached below. We were one of the first schools to be inspected under the new Ofsted framework and, as such, parents choosing to send their child to Horsell Junior can be confident that their child is receiving a good standard of education.
Parents can give feedback to Ofsted at any time on Parent View.
SIAMS is a 'Statutory Inspection of Anglian and Methodist Schools'. The principal objective of a SIAMS inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school. Please find the latest report, dated March 2016, attached below. Our next SIAMS inspection is due some time in 2021.
