The Governors of Horsell Junior School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and experience school business / operations manager to join our team.

The School Business Manager will provide effective financial, personnel, administrative and facilities management. A member of our Senior Leadership team, you will be key in driving our school’s vision forward. The role involves working closely with the Governing Body as part of the Senior Leadership Team. You will be encouraged to think strategically about improving income streams and ensuring that the school achieves best value for money, so that we are able to provide the best possible education for all of our children.

The School Operations Manager will provide provide effective personnel, administrative and facilities management of our school. They will play a key role in supporting the Headteacher and ensuring the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the non-teaching functions of the school. The role focuses on the efficient coordination of administration, human resources processes, facilities, site operations, health and safety, and compliance—ensuring the school remains a safe, welcoming, and well-organised environment for pupils, staff, and families.
