PTA

What is the PTA?
The Horsell Schools’ Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a joint association for The Horsell Village School and Horsell Church of England Junior School, raising funds to provide extra facilities and equipment for the children of both schools. As parents of children in either school you automatically become members.

We are a registered charity [1094182]

Each class has a class representative that facilitates information between the PTA and parents/carers.

What do we hope to achieve?

This year (2023-24) we are aiming to raise more than £25,000 to enable the purchase of a wellbeing pod for the infant school and additional chromebooks, electric keyboard, play equipment and more for the Junior School. The schools would not be able to provide these only with the Local Education Authority’s funding.

Still to come in our programme of events in this academic year are:

Saturday 18 May – Good as New Uniform Sale
Saturday 8 June – Plant Sale
Saturday 6 July – Summer Fair
Wednesday 17 July – End of Year Disco (Years 3-5)
Monday 22 July – Ice Cream Sale

Who are the PTA?

The PTA is managed by a committee which consists of three 3 Officers (Chair, Treasurer and Secretary) and ordinary committee members (no specific numbers).
