Year 4 Adapting a Recipe – Baking seasonal Biscuit
Year 4 have been busy developing their very own biscuit recipes as part of their Design and Technology learning. The children carefully calculated the cost of ingredients, designed and prepared packaging by upcycling cereal boxes, and thought creatively about how to adapt their biscuits to make them even more successful. One of the highlights was experimenting with icing and decorations, which they thoroughly enjoyed adding to their creations. This project gave pupils a fantastic opportunity to combine practical skills with imagination and problem‑solving.
Stitching Success in Year 3
Year 3 have wowed us with their cushion‑making skills as part of their Textile: Design, Make and Evaluate scheme of learning. From sketching out imaginative designs to mastering cross stitch and running stitch, the children showed determination and flair at every stage. They even added applique to bring their ideas to life. The results? Cushions that are bursting with personality and creativity — and the children can’t wait to take them home to show off their fantastic work!
Make My Voice Heard
Year 6 children explored powerful themes of identity and self-expression. Through dramatic drawing, graffiti-inspired art, and collaborative pieces, they learned how to communicate messages and emotions visually with confidence and creativity.
Pizza Making Workshop
Year 4 children had a fun and hands-on pizza making experience at school, guided by the friendly team from Squisitos. They learned how to knead dough, choose toppings, and create their own delicious pizzas to enjoy and share.






Power Prints
Year 4 children explored the exciting world of printmaking in the Power Print unit, experimenting with bold patterns and vibrant colours. They developed their creativity and design skills by creating expressive prints inspired by powerful imagery and cultural motifs.

Stone Age Art
Year 3 children journeyed back in time through the Stone Age art topic, exploring ancient techniques and natural materials. They created imaginative artworks inspired by cave painting and bringing prehistoric stories to life.


Tudor Houses
Year 5 children stepped into history by designing and building their own Tudor-style houses, complete with timber frames and triangular structures. Through teamwork and creativity, they brought the past to life while learning about Tudor architecture.
