Year 4

Monday 14th September

Dear Parents / Carers

It has been lovely to welcome our Year 4 children back to school and helping them get used to new routines, expectations and a new curriculum.

From Monday 14th September, we will be setting homework. There are more tasks set than last year however this is to help the children close some of the gaps they may have gained during the lockdown period. Please visit the homework link in the blue side bar to find further details, information will also be posted on Seesaw in the announcements section.  The links for homework will be in the Homework section and on the Seesaw app. All of the children's passwords that they need for the homework tasks can be found in their HSO's.

Because of COVID we cannot meet you personally this week for the 'Meet the Teacher' session. Therefore we have created a video presentation that will be published in a new folder called  'Year 4 Expectations'. Again, once this has been created the section will show up in the blue side bar. This will have lots of useful information about the year 4 expectations.

We realise that this is a busy time for you and your children. If you require any guidance about your child's learning in the next few weeks, please contact your teacher. - Palm Class teacher - Head of Year 4 - Acer Class teacher - Pine Class Teacher
