Ofsted and SIAMS

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills.  They inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.  Ofsted inspect schools at least once every 3 years.  Please find the latest report, dated June 2016, attached below.

At Horsell Junior, we care about providing your child with the best education possible.  We value your opinion of the school, as it helps us to improve in all areas.  Therefore, we would be very grateful if you could take a few moments to complete the Ofsted 'Parent View' survey.  'Parent View' gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about Horsell CofE Junior, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour.  The survey can be completed at any time; you don't have to wait until the school is being inspected.  For further information, or to give your views, please visit

SIAMS is a 'Statutory Inspection of Anglian and Methodist Schools'.  The principal objective of a SIAMS inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school.  Please find the latest report, dated March 2016, attached below.
